After The Storm stamp set Blog Hop

Hello my stamping friends. I am excited that you joined me today as I am participating in a blog hop with my teammates showcasing the After The Storm stamp set.  My upline, "Frenchie" France Martin, helped to create this set for her Million Dollar Personal Sales achievement.  This is extra special for me as I got to go to the home office with her on her trip and got to see this set come alive.

There are 24 projects that are part of the customer appreciation tutorial, and today I am sharing one of my projects with you.

This set is so versatile and works great with many of the other stamp sets in the catalog.  For this card, I chose to pair it with Mountain Air and the Evergreen Border Punch.  I love how it turned out.  You can see all the details below, as well as a video to go with it.

Measurements:

· Basic White Thick: 8½ x 5½ score at 4¼ card base

· Smoky Slate: 4-1/8 x 5-3/8

· Basic White: 2 pieces of 4 x 5¼

· Evening Evergreen: 1½ x 5½

Instructions:
  1. Stamp the mountains onto one of the 4 x 5½ Basic White layers towards the bottom.  Stamp again without reinking and moving the stamp over and up a little from the first mountains.
  2. Stamp the line of trees along the bottom edge of both Basic White layers with Soft Succulent ink.
  3. On the layer with the mountains, stamp the rays with VersaMark ink diagonally so it shines on the mountains.
  4. Sprinkle clear embossing powder over the rays and heat set.
  5. Stamp a large cloud and small cloud with VersaMark and sprinkle with clear embossing powder and heat set.
  6. With Blender Brushes, sponge Daffodil Delight and Flirty Flamingo over the rays.
  7. Sponge the tops of the mountains with Flirty Flamingo and then the rest of the sky with Balmy Blue.  Wipe the embossed area with tissue to remove the excess ink.
  8. Add three birds with Smoky Slate ink.  Adhere this layer to the Smoky Slate layer and then onto the card base.
  9. Punch the evergreen trees out of the Evening Evergreen layer and adhere to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Snip off the ends to make the trees fit on the sponged layer.
  10. On the inside layer stamp the sentiment with Daffodil Delight ink.
  11. Stamp the line of trees onto the envelope with Soft Succulent ink.

I have a video to show you just how I made this card.  You can view it by clicking HERE or clicking the video below.

Quiet Meadow bundle Sympathy card

Hello, welcome to my blog.  My share for you today is a card I am using for a sympathy card, but you could use it for any occasion.  I love sparkle and bling and this card definitely has that.  I have had the Rainbow Glimmer paper for awhile as it is a carry-over item from last year's annual catalog.  I don't use it often, but thought I would pair it with a layer of Basic Black.  I love the contrast it provides.

Measurements:
Rich Razzleberry: 4¼ x 11 scored at 5½ for the card base
Basic Black: 4¼ x 5½ (2 pieces) and ¾ x 5
Rainbow Glimmer paper: 3¼ x 4-9/16
Basic White: 3¼ x 4-9/16
Black Glittered Organdy ribbon: 4¼ and about 8"

Instructions:
  1. Using the Scallop Contours die, use the largest scalloped rectangle and cut both pieces of Basic Black.
  2. With the Meadows dies cut 2 of the images from the Rainbow Glimmer paper.  On one of them, the stem was too long soi positioned my cutting plate where I wanted the stem to end so that I could have a small border at the bottom of the glimmer paper.  I then used my snips and cut the stem.
  3. Adhere the glimmer paper to one of the Basic Black scallop rectangles.
  4. Cut the long skinny die from the ¾ strip of Basic Black and adhere to the glimmer paper. I used liquid glue, but you could also use adhesive sheets.
  5. Wrap the 4¼ piece of ribbon around the glimmer paper, going through one of the scallops on each side.  Adhere to back of layer, then adhere to card base.
  6. Tie a bow into the 8" ribbon and adhere to card front.
  7. Scatter a few of the Artistry Blooms sequins to card front.
  8. For the inside, stamp the flower bouquet image in Coastal Cabana ink and then the sentiment in Rich Razzleberry.
  9. Adhere inside layer to the other Basic Black scalloped rectangle and then to inside card base.
  10. Stamp the flower bouquet onto your envelope as well with Coastal Cabana.

Color & Contour Bundle

Hello stamping friends.  My share for you today uses the Color & Contour Bundle found on page 98 in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog.  I absolutely love this bundle.  The flowers are whimsical and have a great watercolor look.  I think the dies that go with this bundle are amazing!!  There are dies that cut the flowers, but there are also 5 different scalloped rectangles and a large scallop border die.  All of the rectangles have different features about them.  They have open scallops, tiny dots, stitching, open lines you can weave paper or ribbon through and a scallop with open dots.  I used the scallop stitched die for this project.  I love black with a pop of color so my color of choice today is Polished Pink, one of the new In-Colors for 2021-2023.  I have all of the measurements and instructions below, as well as a complete shopping list that will add all items into your shopping cart.

Measurements:
Basic Black: 8½ x 5½ scored at 4¼ for the card base, 5 x 3¾
Polished Pink: 4 x 5¼
Basic White: 4 x 2¾, 4 x 5¼, 5½ x 2
Polished Pink Open Weave Ribbon: 4½ & 8"

Instructions:
  1. Emboss the right side of the Polished Pink layer with Meadow Moments folder and adhere to card base.
  2. Emboss the right side of the Basic Black layer with the Meadow Moments folder.  Wrap the 4½" piece of ribbon around this layer and adhere to card front.
  3. Cut the Basic White 4 x 2¾ layer with the stitched scalloped rectangle.  Randomly stamp the leaf image with Soft Succulent ink.  Adhere to card front on the left side.
  4. Stamp 3 of the outline flowers onto the 5½ x 2 Basic White layer.  Leave enough room to die cut them.  Stamp the full flower image in Polished Pink over the outline images.   Cut flowers with coordinating die.  Adhere two of the flowers directly onto the rectangle, one at the top and one at the bottom.  Then adhere the final flower to the center with Stampin' Dimensionals.
  5. Tie a bow in the 8" ribbon and adhere to card front with glue dots.
  6. Randomly scatter some Polished Pink In-Color Jewels onto the card front.
  7. For the inside, stamp one flower and two leaves.
  8. Stamp a flower onto the envelope in the left corner.

Split Front Card with Color & Contour

Hello stamping friends.  Welcome to my blog where I like to share hand-made paper projects.  My share today is a card I made with a leftover kit from a class that I did for my sister.  I'm calling this a split front card since the middle is missing.  The stamp set is a sneak peek from the upcoming annual 2021-2022 catalog from Stampin' UP!® and is called Color & Contour (154994).  My card base is Seaside Spray, which is not available as it is an outgoing in-color.  You could substitute a Basic White card base in it's place.  I have all of the measurements and instructions listed below for you, as well as a supply list.

Measurements:
Basic White (sample shows Seaside Spray): 4¼ x 7½ scored at 5½, 2 x 4¼, 3¾ x 2¼, 3½ x 4¾
Gorgeous Grape: 2 pieces 1¾ x 4, 2½ x 4 (sample shows this piece in Seaside Spray)
Hydrangea Hill designer paper: 4 x 5¼, 2 pieces ½ x 3¾
Ribbon: 6-8"

Instructions:
  1. Adhere small designer paper pieces to the 1¾ x 4 Gorgeous Grape.  Adhere here one to top section of card base (the section that measures 2 x 4¼)
  2. Cut the 2½ x 4 Gorgeous Grape with largest label die from Hippo & Friends
  3. Cut the 2¼ x 3¾ Basic White with the second to largest label die from Hippo & Friends
  4. Stamp the flower image onto the Basic White label with Basic Gray ink.  Stamp the flowers with Highland Heather ink.
  5. Adhere the stamped layer to the Gorgeous Grape label.
  6. Adhere the large piece of designer paper to the inside of the card.
  7. Lay the remaining layer of Basic White on the inside of the card, but don't adhere it yet. Close the top flap down and position the bottom section of the card front (the 2 x 4¼ section of Basic White) even with the bottom of the inside.  Lay the labels where you want them.  This gives you an idea of where we are going to stamp the Hello with Gorgeous Grape ink.
  8. Stamp the remaining sentiment at the bottom of the Basic White layer that has the Hello on it.  Adhere to the inside of the card.
  9. Put adhesive at the top and bottom of the label.  Line up the bottom section of the card front and add the label so that part is on the top section and part is on the bottom section.
  10. Tie a bow in the ribbon and add to card front.

I have a supply list HERE for you for all of the products that are currently available.  You can also click the image below to get the supply list as well.

Thanks so much for stopping by!! I really appreciate it.
