PCCSS001

This is my newest grandbaby.  Sweet little Miya. She lives in Okinawa Japan so I haven't met her in person yet.  I stumbled across Paper Craft Crew and found that they have a scrapbook page challenge and was excited to participate.  I used the Razzleberry Splash simply scrappin kit to do her first scrapbook page.  Let's just hope I can keep up with 3 different books now.

I have recently started "blog stalking" Glenda Calkins' blog and found a sketch challenge for
Paper Craft Crew and thought I would play along.  I used Pink Pirouette cs for my base and then a layer of Twitterpated dsp.  The stamp set is from Apothocary Art stamped in Riding Hood Red and Baja Breeze and then layerd on Basic Gray cs using the Labels collection Framelits to cut out the gray.  A little Baja Breeze seam binding finishes it off.

I had so much fun playing along with the Red Hot Stampers that I thought I would try my hand at this week's sketch as well.  For this card I used gumball green and whisper white cs along with the Polka Dot dsp.  My stamp sets are Jolly Bingo Bits and Seasonal Sayings.  I have had the Peekaboo Frames BigZ die for some time now but have never used it.  I added a little sliver and real red dazzeling details to both stamped images and some gumball green ribbon.

Engagement pages

This is my first attempt using MDS2+ to scrapbook.  It was fun playing with all of the features available now.

Wedding Card

My daughter is getting married Oct 5th and she has been bugging me to do some invites for her Rehersal Dinner.  We looked through the catalog and ran across Embellished Events stamp set.  I used versamark to stamp the images and then embossed with melon mambo powder, added a couple of jewels and some melon mambo card stock and she loved them.  That's one more item that can be checked off the list.  I am excited for her, but will be glad when the big day is finally here.
