Christmas Bauble

Hello, thanks for stopping by.  My share today is using the Christmas Bauble single stamp set.  I love this stamp, but have a hard time using it.  This card was so simple, but I think it turned out nice.  Hope you like it as well.  My card base is Whisper White, then a layer of black and another layer of Whisper White.  Before I mounted the top layer, I stamped the ornament with silver Encore ink and then embossed it with silver embossing powder.  I used my Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler Blendabilites markers to add just a touch of color.  I then colored part of the ornament with the Silver Stampin' Dazzle Marker.  I used my stamp-a-ma-jig to align my greeting which is from Teeny Tiny Wishes.  I love this set, it's so versatile.  My finishing touch is some silver satin ribbon.

Festival of Trees

Hello, welcome.  My share today is a card I made for our team color challenge.  The colors are Cherry Cobbler, Mossy Meadow, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla.  I embossed a very vanilla piece (5 1/4" X 4") with the On Point embossing folder and then adhered it to my very vanilla base.  The greeting is from And Many More stamped in cherry cobbler.  I punched it out with the 2" circle punch and layered it on a 2 1/2" circle of mossy meadow.  I then layered them onto cherry cobbler that was cut with the starburst framelits.  My crumb cake banner went on top of circles and then my Christmas tree.  I used the Festival of Trees stamp set.  The tree is mossy meadow and the ornaments are cherry cobbler.  The star on top and the tree base are stamped in crumb cake.  Thanks so much for stopping by.

Note card box set

I saw this awesome note card gift box set and loved it over on Susan Itell's blog.  I made this one for my Dad's friend for Christmas.  I hope she likes it.  I fit 6 note cards plus envelopes in this box.

For the box I used Old Olive card stock, Park Lane dsp, Blackberry Bliss ink and ribbon.  The box bottom measures 7 1/4" X 5 3/4", score at 1" on all 4 sides.  The top measures 7 3/8" X 5 7/8", score at 1" on all 4 sides.  Snip your flaps to make your boxes.  I used fast fuse to glue it together.  Before you put your box top together, use your framelits to cut a window.  I used the Deco Labels.  The opening for my window used the 3rd framelit from the outside.  The little border was cut using the 2nd and 3rd framelits together with one cut.  I put a small piece of window sheet on the back of the lid and then covered it with another "frame"

The note cards are really simple.  The base is a note card that measures 5 X 3 1/2.  I added a layer of whisper white that measures 4 3/4 X 3 1/4.  Before adhering it to the base, I stamped the initial with the Larger Than Life stamp set.  I then used my Stampin' Trimmer and scored all four edges at 1/4" and then again at 1/2".  I put it on the note card base with dimensionals.  I used a little of the Park Lane dsp (5 1/4" X 2") to add a little flair to the envelope flap.  I glued it to the envelope with tombo liquid glue.  Thanks so much for stopping by.
