More Daisy Lane with Merry Merlot

Hello, hello.  Welcome back to my blog.  I am still creating with the Daisy Lane stamp set and came up with this really simple card.  The greeting is stamped on the largest Merry Merlot layer with VersaMark ink and then embossed with white embossing powder.  The layer is then embossed with the Tufted 3D folder.  I stamped the stem and daisy with versamark ink onto Merry Merlot cardstock and then heat embossed with white powder.  I used the 2nd largest Stitched Nested Labels die to cut out the stamped image.  I then used the 3rd largest Stitched Nested Labels to cut just the ends out of Whisper White and then layered them behind the stamped image.  I used the Detailed Trio punch to make a hole on the right side of my label layer to thread the ribbon through.  The label is adhered to the Merry Merlot layer with Stampin' Dimensionals.  I used another piece of ribbon to tie a bow which is added to the flower stem with glue dots.  Adhere the Merry Merlot to the card base and the card is all done.  Quick and simple, but I love how it turned out.  For the inside and the envelope, I stamped the stem and daisy in Merry Merlot ink.

Measurements:
Thick Whisper White: 4¼ x 11 scored at 5½
Merry Merlot: 4 x 5¼ and 4¾ x 2½
Whisper White: 2 pieces 2 x 2½
Ribbon: 5 & 8 inches (my ribbon is retired, but the polka dot tulle would look awesome)

Daisy Lane meets Over the Moon

Hello, hello.  I'm back again today with another Daisy Lane card.  I paired it up with one of the adorable cows from Over the Moon.  I just love these little cows, they are so cute.  My card base is thick Whisper White with a layer of Basic Gray on top.  I stamped the little daisies randomly over the Basic Gray layer.  The cow is stamped on Whisper White with Basic Gray ink and colored with the following Blends markers:  Light Call Me Clover, Dark Petal Pink, Dark Crumb Cake, Light Gray Granite, Dark Mango Melody, Smoky Slate combo and Flirty Flamingo combo.  I stamped 3 of the small daisies in Flirty Flamingo and then punched with the coordinating punch.  A Perennial Essence Floral Center finishes off the daisy.  The cow is cut out with the 4th largest layer oval and then I gathered some polka dot tulle ribbon around the outside using tear & tape to secure the ribbon, making a little frame.  For the sentiment I used the Delicate Lace dies to cut a strip of Flirty Flamingo and then used the classic label punch on the greeting.  The heart epoxy droplets are colored with the dark Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blends.  For the envelope and inside of card I stamped the little daisy with Basic Gray ink.

Measurements:
Thick Whisper White: 4¼ x 11, scored at 5½
Basic Gray: 4 x 5¼
Whisper White: 2 x 5 for the daisies and 3 x 2 for the cow and 3/8 x 2½ for greeting
Flirty Flamingo: 1 x 4

Daisy Lane - Smile

Hello, welcome to my blog.  I have another card for you today using the Daisy Lane bundle.  This bundle is so versatile and coordinates with a lot of other products from Stampin' Up!  I started with a thick whisper white base and then added layers of Mossy Meadow and Garden Lane designer series paper.  The daisies are stamped in Mango Melody.  I did two on scrap Whisper White and punched out with the coordinating punch.  I also stamped one daisy right on my Whisper White layer.  The stem is stamped with Pear Pizzazz ink and the greeting is stamped in Mossy Meadow.  Some twine from the Magnolia Lane ribbon combo pack and some Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets finish off the card. For the inside and the envelope I used the smaller daisy to add a flower.

All of the measurements and supplies list are below.

Measurements:
Thick Whisper White: 4¼ x 11 scored at 5½
Mossy Meadow: 5-3/8 x 4-1/8, 2-3/8 x 5-1/8, 1-5/8 x 3-5/8, 4-5/8 x 2-1/8

Daisy Lane

Hello and welcome to my blog.  It's been awhile since I have shared with you and thought I should get back in the saddle.  I am loving the new Daisy Lane bundle.  The flowers are beautiful and coordinate with Daisy Delight as well.  I am on a mission to sell three Daisy Lane bundles, or three of the Daisy Lane stamp sets.  If I accomplish this, then I will be getting a free stamp set out of the upcoming holiday catalog from Stampin' UP!  I have a free PDF tutorial file for you should you decide to purchase this stamp set/bundle from me.  Here is a snippet of the 4 cards included in the tutorial:

My card today uses products from the Noble Peacock suite along with the Daisy Lane bundle.  I love the colors in this suite so used them as my inspiration for my card.  The Noble Peacock Foil Sheets are absolutely beautiful and include Old Olive, Pretty Peacock and Blueberry Bushel.  My card base is thick Whisper White and then a layer of Blueberry Bushel embossed with the Layered Leaves embossing folder.  A layer of the Old Olive foil serves as the background for my focal point of daisies.  All of the daisies were stamped with Pretty Peacock ink.  The 2 smaller ones were then hand cut.  The middle daisy is 3 layers of the smaller daisy that coordinates with the medium daisy punch.  I added some Wink of Stella to all of the centers.  A piece of reversible ribbon goes across the middle of the card and then the daisies are added with dimensionals.  Some of the Noble Peacock Rhinestones are scattered about to finish off the card.

For the inside of the card the stem is stamped in Old Olive and the flower is stamped in Pretty Peacock.  The sentiment is stamped in Blueberry Bushel.

You're Inspiring

Hello, welcome to my blog.  My share for you today is a card I made for our team challenge for the month.  Each month my upline gives us some product that we have to turn into a card and send back to her.  Then at the meeting, she puts all the participants into a drawing to win all of the cards.  She sent us some Gingham Gala dsp stack and said that the theme of the card should be Spring.  I was looking through my stamp sets the other day and found my You're Inspiring set.  What a perfect set to use for spring, with Easter coming up.  It's cold and snowy here in Wyoming and I am so ready for some warmer weather, even if it's only in my stamp room.

Measurements:
Thick Whisper White: 8½ x 5½
Daffodil Delight: 4 x 5¼
Gingham Gala dsp:  3-3/8 x 4¾, 4 x 5¼ (inside)
Whisper White: 3 x 4
Organdy Ribbon: 5" & 8"

Instructions:
Emboss the Daffodil Delight with the Country Floral folder
Cut the smaller piece of dsp with the 2nd largest stitched rectangle
Using the 4th largest stitched rectangle, cut the center out of both dsp layers
Using the 4th largest stitched rectangle cut the Whisper White layer
Stamp the daffodils on the Whisper White layer in Basic Gray ink
Color daffodils with Stampin' Blends - Daffodil Delight combo, Soft Sea Foam combo, Light                 Pumpkin Pie
Adhere stamped layer to Daffodil Delight layer, wrap a piece of the Organdy Ribbon around these         layers and adhere to card base
Add the dsp frame to card front with dimensionals
Tie a bow and adhere to frame
Add some Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots to card front
Stamp the small daffodils inside the card with Basic Gray ink, making sure that when you layer the        frame that the daffodils show through
