Box with cards

For Christmas I am making my
co-workers a box with six cards in it. This is one of the color combinations I came up with. Bermuda Bay, Rich Razzelberry and Pale Plum CS and Bermuda Bay and Razzleberry Lemonade DS
papers. I hope they enjoy them. Thanks, France, for teaching me how to make the box and for the card ideas.

Chris' card

I made this card for my son's 25th birthday. I used http://cardpatterns.blogspot.com/ #44 for my layout. The stamp set is a retired SU set called Pines. I used Manchester DS paper, Very Vanilla CS and Always Artichoke CS with Close to Cocoa ink. I love the moose and thought it was a nice masculine card.

MojoMonday week 114

I was feeling creative tonight so I also did Mojo week 114. This paper is the Christmas Cocoa and I just love it. I used my scallop border punch on the top layers and the greeting is from the Christmas Punch stamp set which I used Real Red ink for.

MojoMonday week 113

This is my take on Mojo Monday week 113. It seems like forever since I have participated using Mojo. The paper is DS Merry Moments. I used Garden Green with the Patterned Pines stamp set. You can't tell in the picture, but I put some glitter on the trees. The be merry is from the Warm Words stamp set. Enjoy the week!

Card Patterns 41

I made this card for my girlfriend's baby's 1st birthday. I used http://cardpatterns.blogspot.com/ for the sketch. The stamp set I used is Wild About You with Close to Cocoa ink. I don't remember which DS papers I used but the card was So Saffron. I love this stamp set.

Thanksgiving Card

Well, here it is the Tuesday prior to Thanksgiving and this card is still sitting at my house. I really did have good intentions on getting cards out this year. Guess I will work on sending Christmas cards instead = ) I got this idea from a card France did, thanks France. It's not traditional Thanksgiving colors but I was pleased with how it turned out.

Snowflake card

I'm not sure where I got this idea, but it was using the reverse masking technique. I originally learned this technique in my Geek class, thanks France!!

little turkey

I made this card was my attempt with punch art. I believe I saw a card similar on http://www.splitcoaststampers.com I love that web site. His feathers are the scallop punch, window punch for the hat brim, circle punch for his body and head and the little flower from the Boho Blossoms punch finish his feet. I loved the way he turned out.

my brick wall

I got this idea from http://www.splitcoaststampers.com and the Brick Wall technique. It was time consuming but made a very pretty card. I haven't added a greeting yet but think I will use this for my Mother-in-law's birthday.

Scallop

I learned how to put a scallop edge on the large oval punch by using the scallop border punch and a crimper. I love this and plan on creating a card to put it on, hopefully before Christmas.

FallPages

Thank you France for the wonderful page layouts. I came home tonight and added my pictures. I am a little biased, but I think I have the cutest Grandson ever!!!

more Halloween

Here are a couple more that I made today. Have a good week.

Halloween cards

I was in the mood for Halloween today
so I put together these cards. The card
bases I purchased from The Paper Cut
and added different papers from the
Cast-A-Spell pack. My mummy at the top
was on Split Coast Stampers using the round scallop
punch and the word window punch. I used stamps from
Holiday Best and then Grateful Greetings for the envelope.

Wedding Card

I put this wedding card together with an idea I got from France...thanks. I used glossy white for my background and then used my new brayer to put Bravo Burgundy ink on it. I pierced the corners at the top and used the lace scallop punch on the bottom. For the dress I used the Bride paper and finished it off with ribbon and a brad. I stamped in craft white using the Short and Sweet stamp set.

New Scrapbook Room

Finally got my room put together so thought I would share it with you. I have lots of room so come on over and stamp and scrap!!

Okay, maybe just one more card. This card is stamped with a set from CTMH Good Times and the background stamp is from SU Independence Day. I used the Thoroughly Modern paper and white cardstock. A little stickles on the cupcake and presents finish it off.

Sketch Saturday #69

Good morning! I should be packing and getting ready for my trip, but here I sit in my scrapbook room playing. I decided to follow the http://sketchsaturday.blogspot.com/ #69 today and came up with this birthday card. I used white, creamy caramel, tempting turquoise and chocolate chip papers. I used one of Cuttlebugs embossing folders on the creamy caramel. The leaves are from a Creative Memories punch and the stamp sets I used are Autumn Harvest and Teeny Tiny Wishes. Have a great week!!

Color Throwdown #44

http://colorthrowdown.blogspot.com/ is the blog I used for these layouts. The challenge week was 44 - Barely Banana and Elegant Eggplant. I thought the colors worked well with all the colors on the ice. I won tickets to see Disney on Ice back in March and we had a real good time. Have a great week.
