Spooky Nights

This is my take on the big shot challenge.  I used the top note for Franenstein and then the frame on the other page.  The butterfly was used with the Beautiful Butterflies die and the letters were cut with the Serif Essentials Alphabet.
I used the spooky bingo bits to make my background pages and the dsp is Frightful Sight.

Sunflower

For this card I used the color coach Sweet Set for So Saffron.  The other 2 colors are Soft Suede and Riding Hood Red.  I love the color coach because it makes you go outside your comfort zone with color choices.  My other supplies include:

PIck Your Poison SSC 224


Wow, it's been such a long time since I have participated in the stampin 411 challenge.  I saw this sketch and immediately thought about using the Pick Your Poison dsp.  I used pumpkin pie cs, peach parfait cs, basic black cs and very vanilla cs.  My sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes and stamped in pumpkin pie.  The ribbon is peach parfait and the punches I used are the 1 1/4" circle, 1" circle, word window, modern label and the movers and shapers modern label.  A couple of vintage brads finish it off.  For the inside I used more Pick Your Poison dsp and accented it with some bats punched from peach parfait and sponged with black.  The inside greeting is from Greatful Greetings.

Zoo 12 X 12 pages giraffe

My final zoo page.  The original instructions were purchased from Kim Score.

My supplies include:
paper: white, baja breeze, wild wasabi, cajun craze, early espresso and black cs and just add cake dsp
punches: modern label, ornament, 3/4" circle, 1/2" circle, boho blossoms, oval scallop, round tab,  1 1/4" circle, large oval, scallop trim corner and scallop trim border
Stamp Sets: lower case Sweet Shoppe stamped in early espresso and Confetti stamped in so saffron, peach parfait, wild wasabi, baja breeze and blushing bride

Here is my zebra, the 3rd page for my zoo collection.  The original instructions were purchased by Kim Score, but I adjusted some of the punches so that everything was current.

Zoo 12 X 12 pages ostrich

Here is my ostrich for my zoo pages.  Again, I bought the original instructions from Kim Score, but had to adjust the punches so everything was current.  My supplies include:
paper:  whisper white, so saffron, baja breeze, black, blushing bride, pumpkin pie, poppy parade cs and just add cake dsp
punches:  1 3/4 scallop circle, boho blossoms, ornament, word window, small oval, large oval, 1/2 circle, 1" circle, 1 3/8" circle
Stamp set is Confetti stamped with peach parfait, poppy parade, baja breeze, blushing bride, wild wasabi, so saffron.
My letters were cut on the big shot using both the Serif Essentials and alphabet simple letters, hand stitched with early espresso

Zoo 12 X 12 pages

I did a total of 4 zoo pages for my scrapbook club over a 2 month period.  The little critters were a lot of work but everyone really liked the pages once they were done.  I purchased the original patterns from Kim Score, but had to adjust some of the punches so that everything was in the current catalog.
My supplies include:
paper: white cs, wild wasabi cs, blushing bride cs, old olive cs, certainly celery cs and just add cake dsp
Punches: scallop trim border, large oval, extra wide oval, small oval, ornament, 1/2" circle, boho blossoms
the white cs was stamped with the set Confetti in poppy parade, baja breeze, peach parfait, so saffron, blushing bride, wild wasabi

Gently Falling

I made this card using the Gently Falling stamp set in the Holiday Mini on page16 and the greeting is from Always Thankful also in the Holiday Mini on page 19.  Other items used include pool party ribbon, the snowflake embossing folder (pg 33 of the mini), the scallop edge border punch along with the scallop oval punch and the large oval punch.  The leave was cut out and then spritzed with gold glow smooch spritz.  Thanks for stopping by.

I Dig You SSC213

My father's birthday is this week and I initially got this stamp set for my grandsons but it is also perfect for my dad too.  My sketch for this card is on the Stamping411 challenge.

My supplies include:

base: 8 1/2 X 5 1/2 folded in half in whisper white
layer 1: 4 X 5 1/4 in Pocketful of Posies dsp
layer 2: 3/4" strip of rich razzelberry cut with Tasteful Trims die
layer 3: baja breeze seam binding

The stamp set is I Dig You! which I colored with my markers.  The greeting is stamped in early espresso and punched with the 1 1/4" circle and layered on the 1 3/8" circle and the scallop circle.

Beach/Water Scrapbook pages


These are the pages I did for my scrapbook club.  We used pool party, wisteria wonder, white, peach parfait and concord crush paper.  The stamp sets include Sunny Fun available until August 31st in the summer mini and Sweet Shoppe alphabet set.  The trim shapes were made with the big shot and the Tasteful Trims die.

Matchbook chocolate holder



I saw this cute matchbook on splitcoast stampers and had to give it a try. It holds a Ghiradelli Chocolate and it's the perfect thank you to drop in a customer's bag when you deliver their order.


I used Certainly Celery, basic gray and So Saffron cs, Tea Party dsp (retired). I decorated the outside with the flower blossoms punch and flower brads. The greeting on the inside is from Hodgepodge Happiness.

FM08

For this card I used both the sketch and color challenge from http://www.fridaymashup.com/. My Mom was in the hospital for the past week so I think a nice card will pick her up.


My card recipe:


layer 1 - 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 in Night of Navy
layer 2 - 8 x 5 1/4 scored at 4 and folded in half in Pretty in Pink
layer 3 - 3 x 3 1/2 in Springtime Vintage dsp
strip of very vanilla 5 x 5/8 punched with the eyelet border punch

I used pear pizzaz ribbon along with very vanilla 1/8" taffeta ribbon as accents. The greeting is from Teeny Tiny Wishes stamped in night of navy on very vanilla sponged with pear pizzaz. punched with the curly label punch. I added a layer of night of navy with the curly label punch as well. The flower is night of navy, pear pizzaz and pretty in pink punched with the new Blossoms Bouquet triple layer punch. I added a square night of navy button tied with linen thread. Two little pearls finish it off.

Wedding Card

I went to a wedding last weekend and this is the card I came up with. My dsp is presto patterns sponged with marina mist and perfect plum. The greeting is from the stamp set Word Play. I added a little rhinestone to add some bling.

layer 1 - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 folded in half at 4 1/4 in daffodil delight
layer 2 - 4 x 5 1/4 in beyond the garden dsp
layer 3 - 2 x 5 in beyond the garden dsp
layer 4 - (2) 1 3/8 x 2 3/8 and (1) 2 x 2 7/8 in melon mambo
layer 5 - (2) 1 1/4 x 2 1/4 and (1) 1 7/8 and 2 3/4 in whisper white stamped with flower fest in wild wasabi, pacific point, daffodil delight, tangerine tango, melon mambo

I used a strip of daffodil delight satin ribbon and the scallop edge border punch. The greeting is from teeny tiny wishes and punched with the word window punch and layered on pacific point punched with the modern label punch.

Priceless

This card I CASE'd from my upline France. In class we did this in pear pizzaz so I thought I would try a different color. My color choice is peach parfait and I love how it turned out.

Card recipe:
Base layer - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 folded in half in whisper white
layer 2 - 4 x 5 1/4 in basic black - I stamped in white craft using the Priceless stamp set. Once dried I colored them with my water color pencils and the signo gel pen. I then used my two way glue pen and added some dazzeling diamonds.
layer 3 - 2 x 5 1/4 in whisper white and stamped with Charming in peach parfait. I also sponged the edges in peach parfait as well.

My embellishments are the flower blossom and butterflies sizzlits. Some peach parfait ribbon along with a tangerine tango button and a little black taffeta 1/8" ribbon. The greeting is stamped using Happy Greetings from the summer mini, page 26, and colored with basic black and peach parfait markers.

Flower Fest


I gave this card to my Mom for Mother's Day.

My supplies are:

card base - whisper white
layer 2 - 5 1/4 x 4 in pacific point and embossed with the tulip embossing folder
layer 3 - 2 1/2 x 4 in Beyond the Garden from the summer mini, page 23
layer 4 - 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 in daffodil delight and embossed with the perfect polka dots folder and the corners rounded with the corner rounder punch
layer 5 is just a strip of melon mambo
layer 6 is my flower stamped with Flower Fest on whisper white with craft melon mambo and wild wasabi. I then embossed them with the new embossing powders in the summer mini found on page 23. To color them I used my stamp pads with my aqua pen. A few glimmer brads and some daffodil delight ribbon finish off the card. My greeting is from Teeny Tiny Wishes

Strength & Hope

I don't remember where I CASE'd this from but I thought it was absolutely beautiful.

My Supplies include:

base - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 folded in half in Marina Mist
layer 2 - 5 1/4 x 4 in Blushing Bride, embossed with Perfect polka dots embossing folder
layer 3 - 3 1/2 x 2 3/4 in Marina Mist
layer 4 - 3 1/4 x 2 1/2 in whisper white, stamped with Strength and Hope in marina mist and sponged with blushing bride
layer 5 - 1 5/8 x 2 3/4 in marina mist
layer 6 - 1 1/2 x 2 5/8 in whisper white, stamped with Strenght and Hope in marina mist and blushing bride

To finish off the card I stamped the H and hope in versamark and embossed with black powder, added a few rhinestones to the butterfly and under the butterfly layer. I then tied a little 1/8 inch black taffeta ribbon

Easter Pages 12x12








I did these two scrapbook pages for my monthly club. I used the colors from the Subtles family with card stock and dsp. The little chick is the top note die, and a bunch of punches: circle scallop, square, word window, large and small oval, 3/4 and 1/2 circle, boho blossoms.
