Birthday Bakery

I needed a birthday card for my daughter so I used the mojomonday sketch for this card. The stamp set is Birthday Bakery, cs is Pink Pirouette, Very Vanilla and Choc Chip. The dsp is Sweet Always (retired) and the inks are choc chip, only orange, real red, ruby red, pink pirouette and sahara sand. A little pink pirouette ribbon and sending love choc chip brads finish it off. Hopefully you will be able to share this week with family and friends. Thanks for stopping by.

Embossed Snowflakes

Here is another card with non-traditional Christmas colors. I love snowflakes so I used the snowflake embossing folder on Night of Navy. I added some glue and dazzeling diamonds glitter. I then cut out one of the snowflakes from the Northern Frost Big Shot die, added a little Sahara Sand ink and more dazzeling diamonds glitter. One of the large pearl jewels in the center finishes it off. For the greeting I used the stamp sets Northern Hearts (hostess set) and Contempo Christmas. Real Red and Sahara Sand were the inks used and a couple more little pearl jewels. I punched the greeting out with the Decorative Label punch and then punched another one out of Saraha Sand cs. This one I cut in half to make a little border. Thanks for stopping by, enjoy your week.

I tried a non-traditional Christmas card and the more I look at it, the more I like it. I used Concord Crush card stock and then just embossed the Medallion stamp with heat-and-stick powder and white and silver glitter. I added one of the rinestone jewels in the middle. Very quick and easy card.
