Washi Tape Magic with Extraordinary Flora 🌸

Today’s card features the Extraordinary Flora Bundle, Fabulous Sayings Product of the Month stamp set, Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape, Pretty Peacock ink, Bubble Bath ink, and the new stamp positioning tool from Stampin’ Up!

Card measurements:

  • Thick Basic White: 4-1/4" x 11", scored at 5-1/2"

  • Pretty Peacock: 4-1/4" x 5-3/8", with the third-largest Spotlight on Nature circle cut from the center

  • Irresistible Designs paper: 4" x 5-1/4"

  • Basic White: 3-1/4" x 11" for two sections of the washi tape

  • Basic White: 2-1/2" x 2-1/2", cut with the fourth-largest Spotlight on Nature die

To create the card:
Adhere two sections of the Extraordinary Flora washi tape onto the 3-1/4" x 11" Basic White cardstock. Then use the coordinating die to cut all of the flowers and leaves at one time.

Next, use a blending brush with Bubble Bath ink to ink blend over the Irresistible Designs paper. Since the paper is already embossed, this gives you a beautiful embossed resist technique. Adhere this layer to the Pretty Peacock layer and then onto the card front.

Attach the Pretty Peacock circle layer to the front of the card. Stamp “hello” onto the smaller white Spotlight on Nature circle using Pretty Peacock ink, then pop it up over the larger circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Now arrange your die-cut flowers and leaves around half of the sentiment circle to create a bouquet effect. Adhere them in place however you like.

For the inside of the card:
Add a couple more of the die-cut flowers for a finishing touch.

For the envelope:
You can either hand-cut a flower from the washi tape and adhere it to the front of the envelope, or use the coordinating stamp with the stamp positioning tool. Ink just one flower image with a bit of Pretty Peacock ink, then position and stamp it exactly where you’d like on the envelope.
