Hello Beautiful birthday

Hello my stamping friends.  My share for you today is the card I made for my grand daughter's birthday.  I recently won the Hello Beautiful bundle from Stampin' Up! and decided to use it as my starting point for this card.

Measurements:
Basic Black: 4¼ x 11 scored at 5½, 2½ x 2½
Pattern Party designer paper: 2½ x 2½, 3½ x 4¾, 4 x 5¼
Supple Shimmer Pink: 3 x 3
Blushing Bride: 4 x 5½, ¾ x 3
Basic White: 3½ x 4¾

Instructions:
  1. Adhere the Blushing Bride layer to the card base.
  2. Adhere the buffalo check designer paper to the card front.
  3. Cut the largest hexagon from the pink supple shimmer paper.
  4. Nest the 2nd and 3rd largest hexagons together and cut from Basic Black.
  5. Cust the 2nd largest hexagon from the pink animal print paper.
  6. Randomly adhere all of the hexagons to the card front, using Stampin' Dimensionals on the pink shimmer one.
  7. Stamp the greeting onto the Blushing Bride strip with VersaMark ink and then emboss with black powder.  Cut with the Waves die.
  8. Cut 2 pieces of black gingham ribbon and fold in half.  Tuck into the holes on the label and secure with glue dots.  Adhere to card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.  You will have to double up the dimensional on the right end to balance it out.
  9. For the inside, adhere the animal print designer paper (4 x 5¼).
  10. Stamp the shape with Blushing Bride ink, stamped off.  Add the sentiment over the top of it with Memento Black ink.

Flowing Flowers meets Waves of the Ocean

Hello my stamping friends.  My share for you today includes the new Waves of the Ocean designer paper, that is available today through May 2nd, or while supplies last.  There is an early release stamp set and die bundle available as well that goes with this paper, but I am switching it up and using the Flowing Flowers stamp set instead. I chose the paper that has the Calypso Coral and Petal Pink and used it as my background layer.  I have a list of supplies below for you plus all of the measurements and instructions to recreate this card.

Measurements:
Thick Basic White: 8½ x 5½
Waves of the Ocean: 4 x 5¼
Basic White: 4¼ x 3¼, 3¾ x 2¾
Petal Pink Organdy Striped Ribbon: 6" and 4-5" to tie a knot

Instructions:
  1. Cut both layers of Basic White with the largest and 2nd largest scalloped dies from Stitched So Sweetly.
  2. Ink up the largest flower with Pale Papaya ink and then with a blending brush, tap some Calypso Coral ink in the center and around the edges and stamp onto the smaller rectangle towards the left side.
  3. Ink the 3 small flowers image the same way and stamp twice, without reinking on the right side of the smaller rectangle.
  4. Adhere the larger scalloped rectangle to the center of the designer paper.
  5. Wrap the 6" piece of ribbon around the layer and adhere to the back.  Adhere this layer to the card front.
  6. Adhere the stamped rectangle to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.
  7. Tie a knot in the remaining ribbon and add to the card front with glue dots.
  8. Add 3 Champagne Rhinestones to the bottom right corner.
  9. Stamp the large flower on the inside, using the same technique as above.
  10. Stamp the 3 little flowers image onto the envelope, inking the same as above.
