Blended Bloom

Hello, welcome.  My share today is showcasing the blendabilities markers.  I was playing with the Calypso Coral set a few weeks ago and decided it was time to do something with the flower.  I love coloring, but don't consider myself a good colorer. With the new alcohol based markers by Stampin' Up! it makes it so easy.  I wasn't sure what colors to put with my flower so I went to my Color Coach and Blushing Bride and Pink Pirouette were paired with Calypso Coral.  My base is Calypso Coral with the next layer being Blushing Bride.  I went to reach for my embossing folders to emboss this layer, like I would normally do, but I saw my Decorative Masks hanging there feeling neglected.  I have had them for awhile, but have not used them.  I used Blushing Bride ink on Blushing Bride card stock to get my stripes.  Then, another layer of Calypso Coral and then Pink Pirouette.  My sentiment is from the stamp set Four You.  It's a very simple card, but I really like how it turned out.  Thanks for stopping by.

Halloween Pages 2014

Hello, Happy Fall.  With Halloween right around the corner, I thought I should start on some pages.  My inspiration for these pages came from a pin I found on Pinterest.  It was some home décor with the pumpkins and witch's boots and I thought that it would look really cute on a scrapbook page.  I cut the pumpkins from the Typeset dsp with the oval framelits.  My witch's boots are made with the Top Note die, cut into fourths.  I then used the 1 1/4" and 3/4" circle punches to make the round part of the boots and the ankles.  Her stockings are from some retired dsp that I just love, Pick Your Poison.  My title is made from the stamp set Skinny Mini Alphabet.  I also used the stamp set Tee Hee Hee for some little accents.  I then went to my Project Life by Stampin' Up! Seasonal Snapshot card collection and accessory pack to pull in some fun journaling boxes and overlays.  The little sequins also came from the accessory pack.  That about sums it up for today, thanks for stopping by.

Snowflake Card Thinlit

Hello, my share today is a double flip card using the new Snowflake Card Thinlit Dies.  I love the All Is Calm Specialty DSP so that was where I started with this.  My base is Lost Lagoon and measures 5 7/16 X 9 3/4.  The front flaps are lined with Smoky Slate card stock that measures 1 15/16 X 5 5/16, the dsp measures 1 13/16 X 5 3/16.  I used the thinlit to cut out 4 full snowflakes, 2 in Pear Pizzaz and 2 in Soft Sky.  I used the little accessories to cut 2 of the larger snowflakes out of the Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper and then I cut 2 of the smaller ones out of Soft Sky.  I used tombo glue to glue on all the snowflakes with the exception of the soft sky ones, and I used a glue dot formed into a little ball.  My inside piece is Smoky Slate and measures 5 7/16 X 3 3/4.  After I used the thinlit to cut the snowflakes out, I did trim 1/16" off both the top and bottom so that I had a little lost lagoon showing through, and so that it matched the front flaps.  I used the Endless Wishes stamp set for the stamping on the inside.  the snowflakes are stamped with versamark ink and embossed with iridescent ice embossing powder.  The greeting is stamped in smoky slate the snow flakes on the back side are stamped on soft sky in soft sky.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Pumpkin Treat Box

hello, welcome to my blog...

Today I am sharing a cute little treat box made with the new Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlits Dies.  I think the box shape is absolutely adorable.  My pumpkin is Tangelo Twist stamped with Work of Art in the same color.  My leaves are from the Flower Patch bundle using Mossy Meadow for the card stock and ink.  A little of the Gold Sequin Trim finishes it off.

4th of July pages

Hello, welcome....  here are some more pages that I dug out of my stash.  I believe I got these pages in a swap last year at convention.  They were made by Joszette Cunningham.  All I did was add some pictures and a journal box that I got from the Seasonal Snapshot Project Life by Stampin' Up! kit and it was all done.  I wish all my pages went together this quick.

Summer Scrapbook Pages

Hello, welcome to my blog.  I was in the mood to do some scrapbook pages and started looking through the 3 or 4 albums of pages that are all done, just without pictures.  I pulled this one from my stash and thought these pictures of my grandkids looked great on them.  These pictures were taken in Okinawa Japan last summer.  My son is now stationed state-side in Colorado so these wonderful kids are only about 2 hours away now.  I am loving it!!
