One Sheet Wonder with the 2024-2026 In Colors

Hello stamping friends. I am back today sharing the cards we made in my May card class. I do an in-person class once a month and they usually make 3 different cards. For May I had a request to do a One Sheet Wonder so I used the 2024-2026 In Color designer paper and had them request a color with their RSVP. I did the die cutting for them to save on time and I show you in the video how I packaged them up. I also had two samples made up so that each table had a set of 4 to work off of. It ran really smooth and they were done with their cards in about 2 hours. I made a template for each stamper and asked them to bring their paper trimmers as they cut their own designer paper. I have that template for you as well.

I have the measurements for each card below along with a picture of four of the colors. I used Shy Shamrock, Peach Pie, Pretty in Pink and Petunia Pop. (sorry Summer Splash, I didn't have an extra kit for this color).

Quiet Meadow bundle Sympathy card

Hello, welcome to my blog.  My share for you today is a card I am using for a sympathy card, but you could use it for any occasion.  I love sparkle and bling and this card definitely has that.  I have had the Rainbow Glimmer paper for awhile as it is a carry-over item from last year's annual catalog.  I don't use it often, but thought I would pair it with a layer of Basic Black.  I love the contrast it provides.

Measurements:
Rich Razzleberry: 4¼ x 11 scored at 5½ for the card base
Basic Black: 4¼ x 5½ (2 pieces) and ¾ x 5
Rainbow Glimmer paper: 3¼ x 4-9/16
Basic White: 3¼ x 4-9/16
Black Glittered Organdy ribbon: 4¼ and about 8"

Instructions:
  1. Using the Scallop Contours die, use the largest scalloped rectangle and cut both pieces of Basic Black.
  2. With the Meadows dies cut 2 of the images from the Rainbow Glimmer paper.  On one of them, the stem was too long soi positioned my cutting plate where I wanted the stem to end so that I could have a small border at the bottom of the glimmer paper.  I then used my snips and cut the stem.
  3. Adhere the glimmer paper to one of the Basic Black scallop rectangles.
  4. Cut the long skinny die from the ¾ strip of Basic Black and adhere to the glimmer paper. I used liquid glue, but you could also use adhesive sheets.
  5. Wrap the 4¼ piece of ribbon around the glimmer paper, going through one of the scallops on each side.  Adhere to back of layer, then adhere to card base.
  6. Tie a bow into the 8" ribbon and adhere to card front.
  7. Scatter a few of the Artistry Blooms sequins to card front.
  8. For the inside, stamp the flower bouquet image in Coastal Cabana ink and then the sentiment in Rich Razzleberry.
  9. Adhere inside layer to the other Basic Black scalloped rectangle and then to inside card base.
  10. Stamp the flower bouquet onto your envelope as well with Coastal Cabana.

Blossoms in Bloom Sympathy

Hello, welcome to my blog.  My share for you today is a card I always dread making.  My daughter needed a sympathy card for her friend.  I used the new Blossoms in Bloom bundle available June 3, 2020.  I stamped the flowers in Highland Heather and the leaves in Pool Party.  I traced where the leaves would be from my outline die cut and then used the leaf images to to color the leaves in.  I also did this with two small flowers that are not part of the big floral image, but the die cuts them out.  My outline image was cut from Blackberry Bliss.  The greeting and inside sentiment come from Woven Heirlooms.  The front greeting is stamped with VersaMark ink and embossed with white embossing powder onto Blackberry Bliss.  The double bow is with the crinkle white seam binding.

Here are the measurements for this card:
Whisper White Thick: 4¼ x 11
Pool Party: 4 x 5½
Whisper White: 3¾ x 5
Blackberry Bliss: 4 x 5½

Here is a supply list for your convenience:

Touches of texture

Hello, welcome back.  My share today is a card I made for my up coming card buffet.  I have never hosted one before, so I hope it goes smoothly and that I have people show up. LOL.  Touches of Texture did not make my first list and then even after I got it, I wasn't sure I would use it.  Well, can I say, I love how this card turned out, and it was so simple.

My card recipe is:

Card base -  Very Vanilla 8 1/2 X 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4
Dapper Denim - 5 1/4 X 4
Very Vanilla - 5 X 3 3/4

I stamped the flower and dragonfly on the Very Vanilla piece with Always Artichoke using the Touches of Texture stamp set. I then used Dapper Denim for the petals an in hindsight, I think I should have stamped off first (like I did on the inside).  The greeting is from Better Together and stamped in Dapper Denim.  The background stamping is from Touches of Texture as well.  For the border I stamped in Sahara Sand and then used Crumb Cake on the splatter.  I used a blender pen and Delightful Dijon ink to color the dragonfly.  A little of the new burlap ribbon and some gold thread finish it off.  Listed below are all of the supplies used on today's project.  Thanks so much for stopping by.
