Team Challenge - Sept

My share today is for our Team Meeting tonight.  Frenchie gave us some Coaster Board - pg 156 #129392 - to work with this past month.  At first I wasn't sure what to do with it and actually made a different card where I just stamped on it like paper but didn't think that was very creative so I came up with this card instead.  The Coaster Board is the embossed chevron piece.  I used my brayer and inked the Chevron folder and the put my Coaster board in it and ran it through the big shot.  It embosses very nice.  I decided to make a matching envelope using the new Envelope Punch Board - #133774.  Along with the envelope, I made an envelope liner as well.  Love it!!!

Snow Day

Happy Friday!!  Not that I am anxious for winter, but I do love snowmen.  I recently got my Snow Day stamp set and decided to pull it out and actually make something with it.  I wasn't sure when I started this card, but do like how it turned out.  I normally start with the card base and work my way to the top layer but in this case, I did my snowman first and then planned the lower layers.  The snowman is stamped with white craft ink and then embossed with iridescent ice powder so that he was sparkly.  I love glitter!

3x3 box with cards

Look what I did with our New Envelope Punch Board, #133774.  I saw the video on Deb Valder's blog and had to try my hand at it.  I used dimensionals on my card fronts and I would recommend keeping all of your layers flat as they are a little tight in my box.  I didn't take a picture of my envelopes, but I made 4 matching envelopes to go with it.  To hold my box shut I made a belly band that matches the card fronts.  I was thinking I should whip out a few more boxes and give them to my co-workers next month.

From the Holiday Catalog I used:

Witches' Brew dsp, pg 21 #132185
Tags 4 You stamp set, pg 37 #131820w or #131823c
Halloween Hello stamp set, pg 21 #131718w or #131721c

From the regular catalog I used:

Basic Black card stock, pg 145 #121045
Very Vanilla card stock, pg 145 # 101650
Summer Starfruit card stock, pg 141 #126839
Black marker, pg 145 #100082
Pumpkin Pie marker, pg 143 #105115
Summer Starfruit marker, pg 141 #126856

Thanks for stopping by!  I really appreciate it.

Shoebox Swap, round 2

Here is another quick post for you today.  These are the other two cards that Lynne S and Kathy B designed for us to make.  It was such an enjoyable day, I love stamping with friends.  The top card is Kathy's and I just love this card.  And to think that I didn't think I wanted that stamp set.  Now I think it's a must, or maybe borrow Kathy's, LOL.  The bottom card is Lynne's and what a simple but nice card.  I love a card that comes together really easy but looks great.  Definitely one you could whip out a bunch in no time.

Thanks for stopping by.  Come back tomorrow and see what I created with the new Envelope Punch Board.  Way cute!!

Shoe Box Swaps

My cards today are part of the shoebox swap we did at Frenchie's this past Saturday.  The top card was designed by Frenchie herself and the bottom card was designed by Dee A.  We had such a fun time.  It was a small group, but we each brought food to share and the company was awesome.  Stop back by tomorrow and I will show you the other 2 cards we made.

Magnificent Maple Wolf

Hello, welcome back.  My share today is a very simple, one layer card, but I think it's just adorable.  I went to Frenchie's yesterday for a shoe box swap and after we were done with the swap, I stayed and hung out for the rest of the day.  I had seen this card on Pinterest and loved him so Frenchie and I whipped out a bunch of these.  The supply list is very short for this one.  Magnificent Maple found on page 18 in the Holiday catalog #131868, Early Espresso ink - pg 145 #126974, Whisper White card stock - pg 145 #100730, Sahara Sand marker - pg 145 #131261, Basic Black card stock - pg 145 #121045, the large and small circles from the Owl punch - pg 183 #118074, very vanilla card stock - pg 145 #101650, Sassy Salutations stamp set - pg 39 #132070w or 126707c, Bitty Butterfly punch - pg 183 #129406.  Okay, I guess we used a few more supplies than I thought, but well worth it.

That's all for today, thanks for stopping by.

Paper Pumpkin Bike

Good morning.  My share today is made with one of the Paper Pumpkin kits.  I love the bike and decided to stamp my bike, stamped in Summer Starfruit and then I colored the wheels in black before stamping it on white sponged with Raspberry Ripple, and cut it out with the Deco Labels Collection.  The Bermuda Bay was cut with the same framelit.  I just cut it in half to make a little frame.  I also used my Chevron punch with some Bermuda Bay paper as well.  The little Thank You banner stamp came in the kit.  I love receiving my Paper Pumpkin every month.  It think it's the surprise of not knowing what's coming.

Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate it.

Retirement card

Good morning!  My share today is a fun retirement card.  My hubby works for the US Post Office and one of his co-workers is retiring and having a party this evening.  I told him I would make a card and he suggested a mail truck.  Well that got my wheels a spinning and this is what I came up with.  I started with a Whisper White rectangle, rounded the corners and then hand cut the front of the truck.  I used my 1" circle punch to make the wheel wells and the tires are punched using the 3/4" circle punch.  The side window was made using the 1" square punch.  I added a couple of strips of Real Red and Night of Navy card stock.  My little logo was hand drawn with the new White Chalk Marker (love this marker).  The greeting is made with the stamp sets Yippee Skippee (pg 37 #131341w or #131344c) and Teeny Tiny Wishes (pg 44 #128748w or 127802c).  My Real Red background piece was embossed with the Stylish Stripes embossing folder found in the Holiday mini on page 22 #132174.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  I appreciate it.
