Retirement card
Good morning! My share today is a fun retirement card. My hubby works for the US Post Office and one of his co-workers is retiring and having a party this evening. I told him I would make a card and he suggested a mail truck. Well that got my wheels a spinning and this is what I came up with. I started with a Whisper White rectangle, rounded the corners and then hand cut the front of the truck. I used my 1" circle punch to make the wheel wells and the tires are punched using the 3/4" circle punch. The side window was made using the 1" square punch. I added a couple of strips of Real Red and Night of Navy card stock. My little logo was hand drawn with the new White Chalk Marker (love this marker). The greeting is made with the stamp sets Yippee Skippee (pg 37 #131341w or #131344c) and Teeny Tiny Wishes (pg 44 #128748w or 127802c). My Real Red background piece was embossed with the Stylish Stripes embossing folder found in the Holiday mini on page 22 #132174.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I appreciate it.
