Good morning,, welcome long weekend! Most probably have Monday off making the weekend an extra day. Well in my case it's a really long weekend. My hubby is taking me to Las Vegas Sunday and we will come home Tuesday. I am excited for some relaxing by the pool. For my share today I have another Halloween card for you. I seem stuck on that theme right now. I normally need to have a sketch to work from, but today I decided I wanted to use two embossing folders on the same paper and this is what I came up with. For my double embossing I used the Stylish Stripes from the Holiday mini found on page 22 (#132174) and the Designer Frames in the regular catalog on page 190 (#123130). I used the little rectangle. I then made a 'frame' by layering 3 pieces of the chipboard that comes with the dsp paper. My first frame I made the exact size of my Pumpkin Pie card stock. I then embossed it with the rectangle frame and with my exacto knife I cut just outside of the frame, leaving a rectangle in the middle of my first frame. A little adhesive on the frame and then stuck to the folder and passed through the big shot, using only one cutting mat and all tabs closed on the platform. I like the look of this technique but never remember to use it. Phew....on to the rest of the card.
My other supplies include:
Very Vanilla card stock - pg 145 #101650
Pumpkin Pie card stock - pg 143 #105117
Basic Gray card stock - pg 145 #121044
Witche's Brew dsp - Holiday mini - pg 21 #132185
Halloween Hello stamp set - Holiday mini - pg 21 #131718w or 131721c
Brights candy dots - pg 171 #130931
Basic Black ink - pg 145 #126980
Basic Gray ink - pg 145 #126981
Well that's it for today, thanks so much for stopping by. I appreciate it.
