The Marine Corps birthday was on November 10th and then with Veteran's Day on the 11th I decided to take a tray of goodies to my local Marine recruiting office. My son is a recruiter stationed in Denver Colorado as a recruiter supervisor so I hold the Marines near and dear to me. My card base is Whisper White and then layered with Night of Navy and then a layer of Sahara Sand that was embossed with the Lucky Stars folder. I then sponged each star with some Sahara Sand ink. I made a banner of Real Red, Whisper White and Night of Navy card stock. I have a stamp set that has Marine Corps images so I used that set to stamp the one image in versamark ink and embossed it with gold embossing powder. The Oorah! was stamped in real red.
