March 2014 scrapbook pages

These are the pages I did for my March class.  I decides it was time for some birthday pages and I knew that I wanted to use the Sale-A-Bration Sweet Sorbet dsp and this is what I came up with.  They are really easy pages but I am pleased with how they turned out.

My supplies include:
Card stock:  Pool party, basic black, crisp cantaloupe, Sahara sand, pistachio pudding, and whisper white
DSP:  Sweet Sorbet
Champagne Glimmer Paper
Stamp Sets:  ABC 123 Sketch Alphabet & Numbers
Other Accessories:  2 3/8" scallop circle punch, angled tag topper punch, petite pennants builder punch, subtle candy dots and calypso coral bakers twine
Ink:  pistachio pudding and crisp cantaloupe

Thanks so much for stopping by.

TSSC305 Petal Parade

I love sketches and happened upon this sketch from Technostamper
For my take on the sketch I started out with basic black for my base.  I used the largest square framelit to cut off a strip along the bottom.  Then on the inside of the card a put a strip of Sweet Sorbet dsp from Sale A Bration.  I chose a different pattern from the same pack and added a 2" strip to the front of the card.  My banner was cut using the 3rd Banner Framelit (counting from the largest to smallest).  My stamp set is Petal Parade, also from Sale A Bration.  I stamped the chevrons right on the banner and then stamped 3 of the flowers and hand cut them.  The ink I used are Pool Party and Crisp Cantaloupe.  My Hello greeting came from the A Dozen Thoughts stamped in stazon.  A strip of Summer Starfruit cut with the Adorning Accents Edgelits and then embossed with the Adorning Accents matching folder.  Some Crisp Cantaloupe ribbon and large pearls finish off my card.
Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate it.

February Pages 2014

These are the pages I did for my February class.  I tried to keep with the Valentine theme and really like how they turned out.  I especially like my little love bug.  My background pages are Rose Red.  I then used Smoky Slate and black for my photo mounting placements.  I added a strip of silver velum across the top and thought the little hearts went perfect with the theme.

Here are all of the items used to build the little bug.
