The stamp sets I used are In Wilderness and Birthday Bliss. I will use this card for my hubby's birthday, which is tomorrow. Happy New Year to you all. Be safe and happy.

My other supplies include early espresso cs, baja breeze cs, crumb cake cs and very vanilla cs. The ink and ribbon is early espresso and I added a little dazzeling diamonds to my tree. I hope it comforts the family members knowing that others are thinking of them during this difficult time. Thanks for stopping by. Happy New Year!!!

Love you Much Stamping 411

For this card I used the Stamping411 sketch for this week. The sketch was supposed to be square, but my sentiment was too large so I made the more common size of 5 1/2 x 4 1/4.
My stamp set is Love You Much and the paper is Melon Mambo, Basic Black, Whisper White and Pretty in Pink dsp. I used the 2 1/2 circle punch along with the large scallop from the scallop circles #2 die. A little white gel pen and Pretty In Pink satin ribbon finish it off.

Thanks for stopping by.

Santa card

I so CASEd this card from Laura Lipe. I was all done with Christmas cards but when I saw this one I just had to have one. Very easy but soooo cute. I used Wild Wasabi, Basic Black, Pretty in Pink, Cherry Cobbler and Shimmer White papers. The beard and moustache are embossed with the Manhattan Flower folder, the moustache is cut from the top note die. The trim of his hat was cut on both sides with the scallop edge border punch and then embossed with the perfect polka dot folder. The eyes are the 1/2" circle punch and the nose and mouth are the 3/4" circle punch. The Holly is from the stamp set Christmas Classics with a little dazzeling diamonds glitter and red stickles. Thanks so much for stopping by, have a great week.

Simply Scrappin kit I Wish

When my niece had her baby I started a scrapbook for her and gave her some pages and an album for her baby gift.

I thought some Christmas pages would be a nice addition to her album. It seems kids get so many toys and clothes, I thought it would be nice to have memories forever.
For these pages I used the SU Simply Scrappin Kit "I Wish". I only added 2 additional pieces of 12 x 12 card stock and then used a few of my scraps.

These kits are super easy and fun to make. The best thing is that I did 10 pages in only a few hours.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends.

Love you Much Mojo

For this card I used the sketch from mojomonday and came up with this. I used Very Vanilla and Pretty in Pink cs with the Love dsp and watercolor paper. My inks are Real Red (both classic and craft) and Pretty in Pink craft. My stamp sets are Love you Much and All Holidays. I have had the Lots of Love letterpress plate but had never used it before. I need a little practice, but I love the look you get with them. My final embellishment is Pretty in Pink satin ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by - Merry Christmas.

These two cards are basically the same but I thought my first attempt was too girly so I swapped out the last layer of very vanilla. I used early espresso embossed with elegant lines folder and then added layers of very vanilla cs and early espresso dsp. I then used wedding bliss stamp set on the right and the lattice embossing folder on the left with early espresso ink sponged on it. The ribbon is kraft taffeta. Happy Holly-days!!

Christmas Swap

For our downline Christmas swap I made this purse with 6 cards. The purse base is 8 1/2 x 7 scored at 1 1/2 on all sides, cut a slit in each corner to make a box. This becomes your base for the purse. Then take 2 pieces of dsp 6 x 10 and adhere together on one short edge to make one long strip. Wrap around base using red sticky tape putting the seams on the side of the purse. Then embellish and you get a cute purse. I made the cards out of the same dsp (Raspberry Tart, and Kiwi Kiss, both retired).

Stamping 411

For these cards I used the sketch for Stamping411. I always need an idea for my card layouts and this is a great site to get inspiration. I used Blushing Bride cs and Real Red cs along with the dsp Candy Cane Christmas. The stamp sets are from Contempo Christmas and Teeny Tiny Wishes. I used the ticket corner punch, pretty in pink ribbon, the 1 3/4" scallop circle and the ornament punch. I would say these are not "traditional" Christmas colors, but I am pleased with how they turned out.
Thanks for stopping by, Happy Holidays!

Embossed Snowflakes

Here is another card with non-traditional Christmas colors. I love snowflakes so I used the snowflake embossing folder on Night of Navy. I added some glue and dazzeling diamonds glitter. I then cut out one of the snowflakes from the Northern Frost Big Shot die, added a little Sahara Sand ink and more dazzeling diamonds glitter. One of the large pearl jewels in the center finishes it off. For the greeting I used the stamp sets Northern Hearts (hostess set) and Contempo Christmas. Real Red and Sahara Sand were the inks used and a couple more little pearl jewels. I punched the greeting out with the Decorative Label punch and then punched another one out of Saraha Sand cs. This one I cut in half to make a little border. Thanks for stopping by, enjoy your week.

I tried a non-traditional Christmas card and the more I look at it, the more I like it. I used Concord Crush card stock and then just embossed the Medallion stamp with heat-and-stick powder and white and silver glitter. I added one of the rinestone jewels in the middle. Very quick and easy card.

Delightful Decorations

I tried my hand today using the ColorThrowDown challenge. The colors are Very Vanilla, Riding Hood Red and Certainly Celery. I used the movers and shapers ornament with the big shot for the background ornament and the ornament punch for the stamped images. I added a little dazzling diamonds to each ornament and topped them off with 1/8" Early Espresso taffeta ribbon. The certainly celery was embossed using the Finial Press embossing folder. Thanks for looking, enjoy your Thursday!

French Foliage

My upline, France, showed us this card last week so I had to do a CASE. This is made with just one piece of card stock and no other paper. The rest of the image is all ink. I did use the faux tearing technique for the torn edges but I don't remember what the other technique is called but you sponge your cardstock with various colors, then stamp your images in versa mark ink and emboss with clear powder. Then you cover the entire inked area with a darker color and then wipe with a paper towel. The embossed images hold the original color and the rest gets covered with the dark color. My colors are Garden Green, More Mustard and Cajun Craze. I used Very Vanilla card stock and my stamp sets are On Your Birthday and French Foliage. Thanks for stopping by and a big thanks to France to keep my mind going!

The ink colors are Basic Gray, Soft Suede and Baja Breeze. The greeting is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set. Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy your week.
