MojoMonday week 92

Mrs. Lake at Davis Elementary School has adopted my son and her classes support him when he is deployed. On the last day of school the kids all brought in the packets of mixes to add to water and then they boxed them all up and sent 2 flat rate USPS boxes to Chris. He finally received them in IRAQ so I thought I should send Mrs. Lake a card. Most of the paper is from a Marine Corps paper pack but I did use Very Vanilla and Night of Navy from SU. The stamp came from the set Note of Thanks and I used Bording Blue ink.

Little girl Birthday Card

I made this card for my girlfriend's daughter's 3rd birthday. I used the embossing plate girl time on Orchard Opulance from SU. The rest of the paper is just various scraps. I used Melon Mambo ribbon and ink. The sentiment was stamped with Teeny Tiny Wishes. Minnie was cut on my Cricut. She was time consuming but well worth it. Looks like I still need more training on my bows tho.

MojoMonday week 91

I messed up really bad at work today and my boss ended up staying late 2 hours to help me find my mistake. I thought she deserved a nice card for being so understanding. I used Sweet Slumber paper, Baja Breeze ribbon along with Soft Suede and Baja Breeze inks. The mouse stamp is from the Merry Mix stamp set and I used Teeny Tiny Wishes for the Thank You. I used my colored pencils for the mouse. I hope the rest of the week goes much better than today. Enjoy!!

MojoMonday week 90

I needed a quick birthday card for my youngest son. I used Good Morning Sunshine paper from SU and the retired set Alphabet Soup and one of the new stamp sets, The More The Merrier. I used markers on the cupcake and Pacific Point ink on the Happy Birthday.

Graduation

These are a couple more pages that I put together last weekend while at an all day crop. My goal is to have the boot camp graduation pictures done before Chris gets home next month for leave. I'm just a tad behind, in September he will have been in the Marine Corps for 3 years.

Boot Camp Graduation

I am working on my son's military album. These pictures were from his boot camp graduation. I have never been more proud!! The ceremony was awesome.

Color Throwdown #45

This was my first try for http://colorthrowdown.blogspot.com/. This is week #45 and the color combo was Green Galore, Pink Passion and Chocolate Chip. I would have never put these colors together but I think it turned out pretty good.

For this card I used http://fridaysketchersblog.blogspot.com/ week 55. The paper I used is SU Rockabilly with Heartfelt Thanks and Oval All stamp sets. The inks used are Real Red, So Saffron, Always Aritichoke, Pretty in Pink and Kiwi Kiss. It's a little bold, but I like how it turned out. Enjoy your week!!!

I made this thinking of you card for my Aunt. We just found out that she has breast cancer and I thought she could use a little "pickup". I used the paper from Patterns Pack II which is a hostess set from SU. I used the Loads of Love stamp set and then my watercolor pencils to color.

For this week's mojo I used Manchester, Baja Breeze, Almost Artichoke and Close to Cocoa papers and the stamp set Eight Great Greetings from SU. I cut the present using the Celebrations cartridge for my Cricut. I hope you have a great week!
